Help Us Build Project Momentum

To get this project off to a strong start, for the first round of videos we are inviting our donors to participate. This will help us raise funds to cover the costs of the project.

Why we are asking for a donation

As a nonprofit organization, all of IMPACT PSA's funding must come from donations by individuals, foundation grants, and corporate underwriting.

If you are not yet a donor, we invite you to make a tax-deductible donation. We suggest $25, but are glad to accept whatever you can afford. And we do provide an option to donate Anonymously.

Four Ways to Participate

Participate in a Video:

  • Video Clip. Record and send us a short video clip reading a few lines from the script we provide.
  • Photo. Send us a Photo for use in one of the PSAs that feature photos, and for use on our website Video Wall.
  • Name Listing. Add your name to the list of supporters included in our videos, as well as on our Web site.

Or Just Make a Donation:

  • To be a "Behind the Scenes" supporter, you can read no further, and simply and quickly make a tax-deductible contribution to our Annual Fund.

About Phase Two of the Project

The Lead-up to the 2012
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

In early 2012, we will announce the details of Phase Two of the project, the period leading up to June 15, 2012: World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, and the first anniversary of the "Play Your Part" project.

Although a donation will not be required for participation in this round of online PSAs, we hope that participants will continue to help support this project, as well as our other projects to help increase awareness about Elder Abuse.

How to Sign Up for "Play Your Part"


STEP 1: Decide How You Will Participate

If you are considering participating with a video clip or photo, review our Tips page. It has guidlines for recording videos or taking photos, and sending them to us. If choose the video clip or photo option, we will provide you with instructions after you complete the Sign Up & Donate process.

If you prefer just to have a Name Listing, or Play Your Part Anonymously, the Sign-Up Form provides options to choose Name Listing, or Anonymous support.

About Your Tax-deductible Donation

To "Play Your Part" project, we are suggesting a minimum donation of $25.00. However, we are grateful for any amount you can donate. If you can donate more than $25.00, you might consider one of these categories:

Project Participant: $25   Project Benefactor: $250
Project Supporter: $50   Project Angel: $500
Project Patron: $100   Project Producer: $1000

Want to Donate Anonymously? On the Sign-Up Form, we provide an option to choose to be an Anonymous donor. If you so choose, we will not list your name in any of our Donor Recognition Lists, and your name will be hidden in our internal lists.


STEP 2: Choose Sign-Up Online or By-Mail

2a. Sign-Up and Donate Online

This link will open the Sign-Up Form. After completing it, click "SUBMIT" and a page will open with a "Donate" via PayPal button that will take you to the secure PayPal site where you can use MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or Bank Debit.

Our Donate Online process is secure and confidential.

Note: When you fill out the Sign-Up Form one of the questions asks you to Accept the terms of Terms of Use, Grant of Rights, and Talent Release document if you will be submitting a video or photo. If you wish to review the document now, go here: Terms of Use, Grant of Rights, and Talent Release.

Step 3 below describes what will happen after you complete the sign-up process.


2b. Sign Up & Donate By Mail

If you prefer to Sign-Up and Donate BY MAIL, open and print out the Mail-in Form PDF file. Then fill it out by hand, and mail it together with your check or Money Order, payable to the IMPACT PSA address noted on the form.


STEP 3: Submitting a Video Clip or Photo Online:?

Once you complete your donation, PayPal will return you to our Instructions and Tips Web page which provides:

  • Instructions for Sending a Video Clip or Photo, and the Link.
  • Tips for Recording Videos and Taking Photos.
  • Script lines for video participants

You can click out of this page if you have chosen to just have a Name Listing or participate Anonymously.
