Elder Abuse Media Campaign
“Elder Abuse. There’s Just No Excuse.”
IMPACT PSA’s media campaign “Elder Abuse. There’s Just No Excuse” is designed to increase awareness about the signs, scope and prevention of Elder Abuse by producing short form Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) and placing these :10 :30 and :60 second videos throughout broadcast, streaming and social media platforms.

Reveals neglect by caregiver and portrays the despair of his victim. :60 sec.

Our original PSA addresses both the issues of emotional abuse and caregiver burnout. Shot on 35mm, co-directed by actor/director Melanie Mayron (Freaky Friday) and Caitlin Adams, and voiced by Academy Award winner Linda Hunt (The Year of Living Dangerously; NCIS: Los Angeles.) :60sec.

In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD), IMPACT PSA created an influencer campaign to assist with spreading the message about recognizing the signs of elder abuse and what action to take if you suspect it’s occurring.
The importance of this campaign targets the younger demographic that is just learning the importance of protecting this vulnerable community of elderly neighbors, family and friends.
The cast of this campaign is comprised entirely of young influencers who have a passion for the subject of elder abuse. They posted this content on their social media platforms in furthering IMPACT PSA’s “ELDER ABUSE. THERE’S JUST NO EXCUSE.”
